REPORTS
UNEP
DAY 1

The UN Environment Programme (UNEP) committee's sessions were characterized by dynamic and engaging discussions that ignited enthusiastic debates. Delegates delved into the intriguing concept of generating green hydrogen from seawater, prompting vital questions and sparking conversations about harnessing sustainable energy sources, particularly in coastal regions. Another session focused on the crucial global issue of collaboration between developed nations and their responsibility in assisting developing and underdeveloped countries in improving their infrastructure and technology for cleaner and more efficient energy solutions. These discussions underscored the urgent need for international cooperation to address energy disparities and promote a sustainable future. The committee's active engagement with these motions demonstrated their commitment to addressing pressing environmental challenges through interactive and intellectually stimulating exchanges.

Day 2 began with a press conference, setting the tone for the proceedings. However, a new crisis emerged, involving the discovery of a clandestine Chinese organization involved in bombing hydrogen plants in Germany. The extent of this organization's ties to the Chinese government remained uncertain. Sources indicated that the next potential targets for these attacks were hydrogen plants owned by Italy, Spain, and the United States of America. Additionally, it was reported that research organizations from Saudi Arabia and Poland had recently convened for undisclosed purposes at Japan's Fukushima Institute of Science and Technology.

UNSC
DAY 1
DAY 2
On day 1, the focus was on addressing armed conflicts and fostering sustainable peace in the Middle East, with a particular emphasis on the 6-Day War. The committee embarked on a crisis scenario that transported all delegates back to the moment of crafting Resolution 242, taking on the roles of their respective country's representatives from that era. The crisis revolved around the USSR, USA, and Syria's plans to retaliate against Israel for perceived transgressions impacting their nations. During this intense simulation, an MOU was successfully passed between the USSR and Israel, resulting in the formation of a treaty aimed at maintaining peace between these nations. This dynamic and intellectually stimulating scenario exemplified the engaging discussions and strategic maneuvers that characterized the day's proceedings.

On Day 2, the committee centered its agenda on "Preserving Sovereignty in the Aftermath of Crimea’s Annexation: Safeguarding State Autonomy and Regaining Regional Stability Following recent escalations." The crisis scenario took a dramatic turn as clashes erupted along the Ukraine-Russia border, resulting in the tragic loss of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers. This escalating situation raised global concerns, with fears of a potential full-scale conflict, even the possibility of World War 3. During the session, delegates delivered their SSL speeches, and notably, India surprised many by aligning with Russia rather than advocating for peace. The delegate of Russia formed an unexpected alliance with a country that had previously been responsible for killing its president. To conclude the day, the IPC held their Press Conference, during which the Delegates of Egypt and the USA made surprising and thought-provoking decisions that left the committee in shock.

COE
On Day 1, the focus was on examining concerns related to immigration and refugee protection, with a particular emphasis on the violation of asylum seekers' rights. The committee engaged in dynamic discussions, delving into child protection laws and exploring illegal methods of entry, such as stowaways, particularly in destinations like the UK. Delegates collaboratively formulated conditions for refugees entering various countries and explored multifaceted solutions to ensure the civil protection of refugees, addressing their sanitary, mental health, and integration needs. The discussions were marked by interactive and stimulating dialogues, featuring intellectual arguments on how to effectively safeguard the rights and well-being of asylum seekers and refugees.

The session began with a moderated caucus focusing on the crisis surrounding geopolitical borders. However, a significant and distressing incident unfolded within the COE crisis scenario, as rogue refugees carried out a mass genocide resulting in the tragic deaths of 263 individuals, including the assassination of Vladimir Putin. Reliable sources have confirmed that this event seems to have been instigated by two unidentified governing bodies, with hints of possible involvement from a third entity in orchestrating these events. During this crisis, the delegate of Russia made audacious remarks, suggesting a willingness to bomb its closest ally, a clear violation of its established foreign policy.

DAY 1
DAY 2

On Day 1, the agenda centered on examining the impact of nuclear energy in space, with a particular focus on Article 4 of the Outer Space Treaty. The day's crisis scenario revolved around the global community's growing recognition of the threats posed by global warming, leading to a consensus that nuclear energy holds great promise for advancing space missions and exploration. Notably, the European Union (EU) and the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) forged a collaborative coalition to spearhead comprehensive research in this pioneering endeavor. Delegates enthusiastically engaged in interactive and stimulating discussions, offering creative ideas and solutions while representing the unique interests and concerns of their respective nations. The crisis session was temporarily halted and is scheduled to resume on Day 2, underscoring the intellectually stimulating nature of the discussions.

The crisis from Day 1 persisted into the proceedings. A notable development was CSA's launch of two satellites, a clear violation of the rules as only one satellite was allowed per registration. In response, DPRK, Kenya, and India jointly advocated for the impeachment of the USA. The DPRK delegate discussed their diplomatic approach and expressed intentions to forgive CSA for their actions. Following responses from select delegates on the Special Speaker's List, the committee transitioned into the press conference phase. After concluding the press conference, the day's session successfully concluded with the issuance of a press release.

WORLD BANK
DAY 1
DAY 2

On Day 1, the World Bank committee convened to delve into the underlying challenges of extreme food insecurity in Third World nations, with a special emphasis on Sustainable Development Goal programs and the AfCFTA. The session was marked by vibrant discussions and intellectual arguments that kept delegates fully engaged. During a Moderated Caucus, delegates actively explored strategies for women's empowerment and inclusivity within their respective countries' economies. Another session focused on addressing unemployment rates while aligning efforts with the Sustainable Development Goals, where delegates brainstormed creative solutions, such as promoting gender equality, equitable access to education, and fostering self-employment and industrial growth. These discussions showcased the committee's commitment to interactive and exciting dialogues aimed at finding innovative solutions to pressing global issues.

The World Bank commenced its proceedings with a crisis session, during which a raid on Rwandan President Paul Kagame's residence unveiled substantial stockpiles of illicit funds, pushing Rwanda towards the brink of financial collapse. This discovery led to a heated debate among various delegates concerning the legality of the money in question. Further investigation revealed that the United Kingdom had been involved in facilitating the smuggling of these illicit funds, sparking outrage among other nations. The UK had collaborated with the Central African Republic to store the money, triggering a contentious discussion about whether this act of betrayal warranted the suspension of the Central African Republic from the AfCFTA. In response, Germany and the United States imposed export bans on the UK, prompting intensive discussions via a Special Speakers List to assess the potential global economic ramifications. As a result, resolutions were passed, encouraging countries to enhance food security through the implementation of policies supporting agricultural crop production and recommending measures to reduce food waste.
